Maj Nathaniel Taylor Jackson

Nathaniel T. Jackson, the second child of Alfred E. and Sarephina Taylor Jackson, was born May 5, 1829. He was educated at Blount College, now the University of Tennessee. He married Lizzie Henry, of Blount county, who is still living, as the wife of Dr. Bond. Nathaniel T. Jackson was in the confederate army. He met death in the battle at Rock Castle, Kentucky. He has one son living, Rev. Alfred N. Jackson, of the Methodist Episcopal church, South, and at present the presiding elder of the Radford, Va., district. Alfred N. Jackson married Miss Nellie Cox, of Louisville, Tenn., and they have four children.
